PocketBook, known for making e-readers for nearly 20 years, has launched something new. Their latest creation, the InkPoster, isn’t meant for reading e-books. Instead, it’s a large color E Ink display that you can hang on your wall to showcase artwork. Think of it as a digital photo frame that comes in sizes ranging from 13.3 to 31.5 inches. It features a built-in battery, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 LE, making it easy to upload and change images whenever you want. The big reveal for this product happened at the CES 2025 exhibition.

InkPoster is a joint project of PocketBook, E Ink and Sharp, which combines E Ink Spectra 6 and Sharp IGZO display technologies.
InkPoster is a collaboration between PocketBook, E Ink, and Sharp that merges E Ink Spectra 6 with Sharp IGZO display tech. Unlike typical E Ink displays, these new photo frames can show 60,000 colors while maintaining the same pixel density. However, the refresh rate is pretty slow, around 12 seconds, making them better for static images. Plus, the screen doesn’t emit blue light or heat and only uses power when the image changes, so it can last a whole year on just one charge.

InkPoster has an app of the same name with a collection of works of art selected by a team of professional consultants.
InkPoster offers an app that showcases a curated collection of artwork, handpicked by a team of experts. Users can explore both classic masterpieces and modern pieces from various artists, catering to any style or vibe. Plus, you can upload your own photos and set up personalized galleries. With options for both vertical and horizontal layouts, the photo frame fits perfectly in any setting.
