THIEAUDIO brand has recently released a new model of GHOST dynamic wraparound headphones , which are distinguished by the use of original drivers of their own design.
The dynamic drivers used in the model are called Sapphire, they have a 40 mm diaphragm , made by applying a ceramic-metal composite , which includes titanium, on a polymer substrate. Merely 180 nanometers thick, the membrane features excellent rigidity and high internal damping. The magnetic system of the emitter is made of N52 neodymium .
The headphones have an open acoustic design, their low sensitivity of 91 dB and a nominal impedance of 60 ohms suggest being used in tandem with a good stationary or portable amplifier. The detachable cable is equipped with 3.5 mm mini-jacks on both the headphone and signal source sides.
