Wilson Benesch demonstrated the manufacturing process of the new High-End turntable chassis, a project initiated by the manufacturer over five years ago. Crafted from a single piece of aluminum weighing 30 kilograms, the chassis undergoes meticulous processing resulting in a lightweight structure weighing only 5 kilograms—six times lighter than its original form. The chassis features a stator, a set of printed circuit boards, 21 precisely wound coils, and a disk. Each component requires six hours of processing, with the entire process divided into two distinct stages.

According to company representatives, deviations in the operation of our equipment are limited to no more than 0.01 mm, a crucial factor ensuring the precision of every component and the overall performance of the system.

“The chassis is specifically engineered for the OMEGA Drive, recognized as the world’s sole direct drive system with low torque and zero clearance. It is meticulously designed to elevate analog audio to unprecedented levels of precision and performance from the ground up.”
