VPI has updated its best-selling turntable, the Prime Scout. The new Prime Scout 21 has received improved anti-vibration mounts from the HW-40 model, and therefore its appearance has become more monumental.
The turntable’s chassis is constructed from non-resonating MDF, covered with premium quality vinyl and reinforced with steel sheet. The Prime Scout 21 has an external 300 RPM AC synchronous motor for quiet operation and smooth power transfer to the massive aluminum rim.
The inverted bearing consists of a hardened steel shaft with a hardened chrome ball on the top, which has a hardness of 60 HRC, and a brass cup with a PEEK (PolyEtherEtherKetone) backing plate.
Prime Scout 21 is reliable and easy to set up. You can start listening to your favorite records in just a few minutes after unboxing.
