Many Xiaomi smartphones, including Redmi and POCO models, will receive their latest update this year. Among them are the popular Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 11 series. Unfortunately, the owners of these devices will never officially see the new HyperOS – this was not included in the company’s plans.
Xiaomi’s policy is based on price and sales volume. This means that the company’s flagships are updated for 4 years, and entry-level and mid-level smartphones – 3 years. Thus, this year marks the end of support for a number of devices released between 2020 and 2021.
Devices that will receive the latest update in the second quarter of 2024:
- Redmi Note 10 (entire series)
- Redmi 10 (entire series)
- POCO X3 GT
- POCO C31
- POCO C40
Not only have all these smartphones not received the HyperOS 1.0 update, some have not even received the MIUI 14 update. Xiaomi is ending support for these devices because due to their affordable price and hardware, they may experience performance issues due to the new software requires large resources.

- Redmi K40 (entire series)
- Redmi Note 11 / 11 Pro / 11S / 11T
- Xiaomi Mi 10 (entire series)
- Xiaomi Civi 1
- Xiaomi MIX 4
- Xiaomi MIX FOLD 1
- Xiaomi 11 Lite (entire series)
- Xiaomi Pad 5 (entire series)
- Redmi 11
- POCO F3 (entire series)
- POCO M4 Pro 5G
- POCO M5s
- Redmi A1
- POCO C50
- POCO X4 GT
Owners of some smartphones on this list will be a little more lucky – they will receive the latest update to HyperOS 1.0. The rest will remain with MIUI forever.
