The Huracan Sterrato finally made its official debut at Art Basel in Miami. It is the first off-road version of a Lamborghini supercar and, ironically, the Italian brand’s last clean-fuel car. It is based on the Huracan Evo and largely repeats the 2019 concept of the same name.

The Huracan Sterrato received a ground clearance increased to 44 mm, which allows for an increase in suspension travel, as well as an updated Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) dynamics control system with a predictive algorithm. There are recalibrated Strada and Sport driving modes, as well as a new Rally mode designed for low grip surfaces.

The Huracan Sterrato is not only taller, but also slightly wider – the track is extended by 30 cm in front and 34 cm in the rear. Brakes are carbon ceramic with six-piston calipers up front and four-piston calipers in the rear. They are hidden behind 19-inch wheels wrapped in a set of Bridgestone Dueler AT002 all-terrain tires made specifically for this car. Thanks to a special technology on flat tires, you can drive up to 80 km at speeds up to 80 km/h.

The supercar is equipped with a naturally aspirated V10 5.2 engine with a capacity of 610 hp. and a torque of 560 Nm. With enough grip, the Sterrato hits 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 260 km/h. The appearance of Sterrato suggests that this car was not created for speed records. Aluminum underbody panels protect vital parts of the powertrain, sills have been reinforced, composite wheel arch extensions have been added, and the air intake has been moved to the rear of the roof to keep dust out. There were also additional headlights in front. Inside, exclusive Verde Sterrato Alcantra upholstery, several new instruments, including a digital inclinometer, compass, geographic coordinate indicator, pitch, roll and steering angle indicator.

Sterrato has almost unlimited customization options. As part of the Lamborghini Ad Personam program, 350 exterior colors and 65 interior color options are available to customers.

Lamborghini plans to produce 1,499 cars worldwide, with production starting in February 2023. Prices will be announced later.
