AOC brand has introduced a new gaming monitor Q27G2SD with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and low response time. It is 1ms (MPRT) or 4ms (GtG), which helps to get rid of blurring of fast moving objects on the screen. The monitor is equipped with a 27-inch diagonal IPS display with a refresh rate of 170 Hz when signaled via DisplayPort 1.4 .
When using the HDMI 2.0 port, the frequency is limited to 144 Hz. Claimed brightness is 350 nits in standard mode and up to 400 nits when displaying high dynamic range content. The color reproduction of the monitor is excellent – the coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is 99% and sRGB is 126% with a Delta E value of less than 2. For connecting signal sources, there are two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port.
The monitor does not have a built-in speaker system, there is only a headphone output and a line input. The stand allows for many options for orienting the monitor in space.
The AOC Q27G2SD gaming monitor will go on sale soon, with an expected price of just over $200.
