In appearance, the new product resembles other folding devices of the brand from the Specter family. When placed on a desk with the built-in stand folded down, the Specter Fold becomes a 17-inch all-in-one. If you fold it and connect it with a wireless magnetic keyboard, then this is already a 12.3-inch laptop. Without a keyboard, it’s a tablet.

The basis of the device is a 10-core Intel Core i7-1250U processor, complemented by 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of solid-state drive. The OLED display with an aspect ratio of 3:4 is capable of displaying images in a resolution of 1920 × 2560 pixels. In the top frame, users will find a GlamCam camera. According to the company, the battery will last for 12 hours of active operation.

At this price, only really wealthy users will be able to use the new device from HP. By comparison, a similar ThinkPad X1 Fold convertible costs customers $2,499.
