LG Electronics has released its UltraGear line of OLED gaming monitors , which includes the highly anticipated 32-inch 4K gaming monitor (model 32GS95UE ). The new LG 32GS95UE product features a 240 Hz refresh rate , ultra-fast 0.03 ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time, as well as LG’s Dual-Hz function and Pixel Sound technology .
Also launching at CES 2024 are impressive 39- and 34-inch ultra-wide curved screen models: the 39GS95QE and the CES 2024 Innovation Award- winning 34GS95QE .
The 32GS95UE is the first LG UltraGear model to feature the new Dual-Hz feature, allowing users to switch between 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at 240 Hz and Full HD (1920 x 1080) at 480 Hz with one simple click. The mode is easily controlled using a hotkey or joystick direction switch, allowing players to instantly apply the optimal combination of screen resolution and refresh rate (according to the game genre, for example) For fast-paced action and shooters, users can choose FHD 480 Hz resolution, while while visually rich, story-driven games can be enjoyed in 4K 240Hz resolution.
In addition to the dual refresh rate feature, the 32″ UltraGear OLED display has an impressive 0.03ms (GtG) response time, which helps eliminate motion blur, enhance image clarity and deliver dynamic gameplay.
The 32GS95UE further enhances usability with minimal bezels and powerful, detailed audio. LG’s four-sided, near-borderless design and immersive 3D surround sound thanks to Pixel Sound (integrated front-facing audio with dual subwoofers and DTS Virtual:X support) enhance immersion in the game’s story. The speakers are neatly hidden behind the OLED panel itself, eliminating the need for external speakers and saving valuable desktop space.
Winner of CES 2024 Innovation Awards, the 34-inch 34GS95QE and its larger 39-inch 39GS95QE enhance the gaming experience with 800R curved OLED displays with a 21:9 aspect ratio and ultra-wide Quad-HD resolution (3440 x 1440). The panoramic monitors also feature LG’s low-reflective anti-glare coating, 4-sided borderless design, 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time (GtG). The 800R curvature and 21:9 cinematic aspect ratio of the 34GS95QE and 39GS95QE, combined with LG OLED display technology, bring a new dimension to gaming and viewing.
LG’s latest UltraGear OLED gaming monitors feature a hexagonal Unity back design that seamlessly balances sleek aesthetics with the need to hide cables. The slim L-shaped stand, introduced this year, has ergonomic advantages, stability and compactness. Along with the ability to adjust tilt, height, and swivel, the stand takes up a smaller footprint than the 2023 V-stand, which helps free up space and improve desk usability. The stylish and functional stand also provides installation flexibility and gives the monitors an unapologetically futuristic look.
Along with the new 32-inch and 34- and 39-inch curved models, LG’s 2024 UltraGear line of OLED gaming monitors includes two 45-inch monitors and a 27-inch monitor (models 45GS95QE, 45GS96QB and 27GS95QE ). Updated versions of the acclaimed 45GR95QE and 27GR95QE further expand the UltraGear family, delivering the exceptional gaming experience for which LG’s premium gaming monitor brand is renowned. Additionally, all three models are VESA Display HDR™ True Black 400 certified, offering high-brightness displays that produce rich blacks and enhance depth and detail in darker gaming environments.
The powerful 45-inch 45GS96QB immerses users in their favorite games; Its ultra-wide QHD (800R) curved OLED display and built-in speakers deliver true-to-life picture and sound. Meanwhile, the 27GS95QE is a great option for small spaces – a compact 27-inch flat-screen OLED display with all the specs you need for next-level gaming.
