Xiaomi has officially introduced the new budget monitor A24i. The model has a basic design and a decent set of functions. The monitor is equipped with a 23.8-inch (~60.5 cm) panel with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
It is an IPS LCD panel with a 1080p resolution and a 100Hz refresh rate. The monitor covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut and reproduces 16.7 million colors, and its maximum brightness is 250 cd/m². Among other characteristics, we note color accuracy ΔE<2, contrast ratio of 1000:1 and response time of 6 ms.
In addition, the screen-to-body ratio is 90%. The A24i features thin bezels on three sides. It has DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI and DC IN ports for power.
The monitor body is thin (7.5 mm). It is equipped with a stand with an adjustable tilt angle. In addition, the new product can be mounted on a wall using the VESA standard, but this will require purchasing a bracket.
It is not yet known when the Xiaomi A24i monitor will be available for sale. Its cost will also be announced additionally.
