If rumors are to be believed, the HTC Vive Air standalone VR headset will be announced soon . The model’s details were featured on the iF Design Award website .

The device will use four cameras to assess the position of the wearer in space. The focus during development was on fitness applications, so with the help of HTC Vive Air it will be possible to get to the gym without leaving home.

In addition, the headset is optimized for increased perspiration – for example, its headband is made of breathable jersey. Most likely, the glasses will be announced in May 2021 at ViveCon 2021 – or later. There are no data on matrix resolution and other technical details yet.
