Power banks have become an integral part of our lives due to non-removable batteries in portable devices. Almost every smartphone user has such external batteries. As mobile gadgets become more and more energy-intensive, the requirements for power banks are also increasing. First there were devices with a capacity of 5,000 mAh, then 10,000 mAh, and now 20,000 mAh. But one craftsman from China took power banks to a new level by creating an external battery with a capacity of 27,000,000 mAh.
Handy Geng, who is fond of electronics and everything related to it, posted a video on YouTube with the title “I Made a 27,000,000 mAh Portable Power Bank” (“I made a 27,000,000 mAh portable power bank”) . In the video, he jokes that his friends have more power banks than him, so he decided to make the largest and most durable battery.
Handi Geng purchased a huge flat battery pack, similar to the one that is installed in the bottom of an electric car. To make the product look like an ordinary power bank, he placed it in a rounded metal case, having previously made a crate. Then I installed ports: one input for charging the power bank itself and 60 output ports with 220 V voltage support. Thus, we got a giant external battery that can simultaneously charge up to 20 devices. Not only smartphones, tablets and laptops, but also TVs, washing machines, refrigerators, induction cookers and other household appliances. And without serious short circuits.
Of course, Handi Geng’s invention cannot be called a portable charger due to its huge size, although it can be transported thanks to small wheels. However, such a device, if necessary, will be able to provide energy to the whole house, which, perhaps, covers its main drawback.
