TP-Link introduced a new signal amplifier network Wi-Fi access – the TP-Link RE550 . The device operates in dual bands according to the 802.11ac standard and allows you to increase the Wi-Fi coverage area when connected to a router.
TP-Link RE550allows you to expand the coverage of a user’s Wi-Fi network at speeds up to 600 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz range and up to 1,300 Mbps in the 5 GHz range and has 3 × 3 MIMO support. The signal booster connects to the router via Wi-Fi and eliminates weak signal zones in the room, making it possible to use a stable wireless Internet connection over a larger area.
Technology OneMesh ™ by TP-Link allows you to organize Wi-Fi network with the same name and seamless coverage throughout the house – just plug the TP-Link RE550 to a router with support OneMesh ™ . The amplifier also supports adaptive path selection technology, which ensures the optimal connection speed for the devices.
In addition, the device is equipped with a high-speed mode that allows you to use one Wi-Fi band for backhaul communication and another for connecting client devices, increasing the bandwidth of the extended Wi-Fi network. TP-Link RE550 is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port that allows you to conveniently connect devices such as Smart TVs , game consoles and personal computers to a wireless network .
The main technical characteristics of the TP-Link RE550 amplifier:
• Maximum Wi-Fi speed: up to 1,300 Mbps in the 5 GHz range and up to 600 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz range;
• Continuous streaming: OneMesh technology allows the amplifier to connect to TP-Link Wi-Fi routers with OneMesh to create a single seamless network;
• Three antennas: adjustable external antennas provide optimal coverage and reliable connection;
• No dead zones for Wi-Fi: connecting to an existing router allows you to increase the signal coverage area to permanently solve the problem of “dead zones”;
• Easy setup and management with TP-Link Tether mobile app;
• One-touch secure connection: instantly connect the amplifier to the router by pressing the WPS button;
• Smart signal indicator: will let you know the quality of the signal and help you find a suitable place for optimal Wi-Fi coverage;
• Gigabit Ethernet port: Allows you to connect a wired device to Wi-Fi.
