AMD releases Adrenalin Edition 22.10.1 driver with Overwatch 2 support

AMD has released the new AMD (Radeon) Software Adrenalin Edition 22.10.1 graphics driver package. It adds support for Overwatch 2 and fixes a number of bugs from previous driver versions.

The company said it has fixed an issue where the GPU for imaging may not be available when using Adobe Lightroom on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards. In addition, AMD has fixed a crash in Street Fighter 6 Beta.

List of known issues:

  • Radeon Super Resolution may not work after changing resolution or HDR settings in games such as Nioh 2.
  • Oculus settings panel menus and rendered controllers may appear jumpy/wobbly on Oculus Quest 2 on Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics cards.
  • GPU usage may get stuck at 100% in Radeon performance after closing games when using Radeon 570 graphics cards.
  • when previewing the timeline in VEGAS Pro, some colors may appear inverted;
  • Chromium-based browsers may experience video stuttering on extended monitors with mixed refresh rates using Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs.
  • Users may experience dropped frames when playing video using hardware acceleration in browsers on Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards.
  • Some AMD graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 6700 XT, may experience a brief display distortion when switching between video and game windows.
  • When V-Sync Update is set to Always Disabled, video playback using Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs may experience system hangs or driver timeouts.
  • A driver timeout may occur when using HEVC hardware encoding on Radeon RX 6000 graphics cards.
