The first-person shooter GoldenEye 007 has become available on two new platforms at once – Xbox and Nintendo Switch with some differences.
What we know
As for the Microsoft console version of the game, this is an updated version of the 1997 shooter with support for 4K resolution, higher frame rates, and split-screen local and multiplayer play.
And on the Nintendo Switch, GoldenEye 007 was released as part of Nintendo Switch Online, which mainly contains games from the company’s previous consoles. In order to play the shooter, you will have to spend money on an additional Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
GoldenEye 007 is also available to play now on Nintendo Switch for #NintendoSwitchOnline + Expansion Pack members, with all the benefits the platform offers! Good to have you back, 007. https://t.co/SwCemJNtCL

But the Switch version has online multiplayer, unlike Microsoft’s “faithful getaway” available for Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles and included with an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
Classic Campaign Mode will also be available on Xbox along with cheat modes, support for dual analog sticks, and native 16:9 up to 4K aspect ratio.
