The Audeze LCD-R on- ear headphones are a collaboration between Audeze and Schiit . They are supplied to the market with a Schiit Jotunheim-A amplifier. The new headphone model uses the proprietary Parallel-Uniforce technology . Audeze engineers refer to the installed driver as tape rather than planar due to its low impedance. The headphone impedance is only 2 ohms.
The modified Jotunheim-A headphone amplifier with low electrical impedance provides the best performance in the headphone drivers. The Audeze LCD-R on- ear headphones are designed exclusively for the Jotunheim-A amplifier and will not work with other brands or other brands.
