Beats Studio Pro over-ear headphones has been unveiled. They came out 15 years after Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine presented the original Studio model. It was the first headphones that made the brand famous all over the world.
The new model retains the iconic design of the original, but with completely different features and capabilities. Equipped with 40mm drivers, it delivers ultra-clear sound with near-zero distortion even at high volumes – an improvement of up to 80% over Beats Studio3. The built-in digital processor performs the final adjustment of the frequency response, creating a balanced sound profile.
Beats Studio Pro headphones support Dolby Atmos surround sound technology. Even more immersion is provided by the head tracking function. Users can customize the spatial experience using Spatial Audio, a playback technique where there is a slight delay in the sound output to the left and right headphones. Due to this, volume is formed and the effect of presence is achieved. It is reported about the active noise reduction function and the transparency mode.
The developers have also worked on voice communication. Powerful microphones that can filter out background noise have improved speech quality by 27% over its predecessor.
The battery capacity is enough for 40 hours without the noise canceling function and for 24 hours with the noise canceling activated. The fast charge function will provide 4 hours of music playback after 10 minutes of mains power.
Connect to your Beats Studio Pro source using Bluetooth, a standard 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port to listen to music and charge your device at the same time.
The novelty is compatible with mobile devices running iOS and Android. The headphones will hit the market in several colors: sandy, dark blue, dark brown and black. They can be purchased from Apple for $349.99.
