Earin A-3 – The smallest wireless headphones in the world

Earin A 3

The Swedish company Earin presented its first TWS headphones on Kickstarter in 2015. According to the company, they became the world’s first truly wireless in-ear headphones. Now the Swedes have released the third generation of their True Wireless earbuds. This time, the developers announced that the Earin A-3 model is the smallest wireless headphones in the world.

This did not stop us from installing one of the largest speakers in its class in the A-3. According to Earin, its 14mm diffuser “pumps” 20% more air than its counterparts. It also managed to accommodate four microphones, electronics with touch controls and a battery that provides up to 5 hours of music on a single charge. The aluminum battery case adds another 30 hours of sound. It itself charges via USB-C (cable included) and also supports wireless charging.

But there are no silicone or any other earbuds in the Earin A-3 set. These open-back in-ear headphones are said to stay in the ear thanks to their adaptive shape. Their plastic case is protected from moisture according to IP52 standard.

The headphones provides passive noise cancellation and wind noise suppression, reproduces the classic full audio range of “20-20” and uses the Qualcomm chipset, which provides Bluetooth 5.0 with TWS + technology at a distance of up to 75 meters.
