JLab , known for its inexpensive TWS headphones, presented two models of wireless earbuds at CES 2023 , which opened in Las Vegas. The first headphones – Jbuds Mini , became the smallest TWS headphones not only in the company’s nomenclature, but also in the world. The second is Epic Air Lab Edition , premium wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation.
The JBuds Mini TWS earphones are one-third more compact than the JLab Go Air Pop, which was introduced in 2021. The storage and carrying case is also quite small – about the size of a key chain – and has a key loop. The rechargeable batteries in the headphones provide over six hours of listening time on a single charge, and with the battery in the case, the total battery life is over 20 hours. The suggested retail price of the JBuds Mini TWS headphones is $39 .
The $ 199 Epic Air Lab Edition Premium TWS Earbuds is JLab’s first hybrid model, each earbud comes with two drivers. Also in the arsenal of the novelty is the ANC active noise reduction system with a “transparent” mode and several noise reduction modes with different efficiency. Epic Air Lab Edition is controlled via touch panels, multipoint Bluetooth is supported. The total battery life, including the battery in the carrying case, exceeds 54 hours. Comes with a USB-C dongle for connecting headphones to computers and laptops. When using the adapter, the broadcast is carried out using the Bluetooth LE protocol with a low time delay, which is optimal for video and games.
JLab says all new products first shown at CES 2023 will be on sale in the third quarter of 2023.
