Mark Levinson No. 5909: Wireless headphones with ANC, Beryllium and Harman Curve

Mark Levinson No. 5909

Mark Levinson No. 5909 are high-definition wireless headphones with active noise cancellation that take into account the Harman curve.

The Mark Levinson No. 5909 Over-Ear Wireless Headphones feature 40mm beryllium-coated drivers, Bluetooth 5.1, and adaptive ANC. The company promises “reference quality sound with high resolution.” The model is Hi-Res Audio certified, supports the LDAC audio codec and processes digital audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz, with reproducible frequencies up to 40 kHz.

The sound profile of the Mark Levinson No. 5909 is set to match the frequency response curve, which received the highest subjective scores in listening tests. It is often called the Harman curve. Four beam-steered microphones with Smart Wind Adaption prevent voice distortion in conversations. At the same time, ANC blocks ambient sounds so you can fully focus on the conversation. There is an Ambient Aware mode, which, on the contrary, allows you to talk to others without removing your headphones.

Listening settings are available in the Mark Levinson Headphones app on your iPhone and Android device. The earphones use high-quality materials: anodized aluminum and premium leather. The Mark Levinson No. 5909 provides up to 34 hours of playback, or up to 30 hours with ANC on.

Mark Levinson No. 5909 headphones are available in black, pewter, and red for $999.
