Meze has started selling an updated model of its top-end planar headphones called Empyrean II .

The main visual difference of the new product was the darker finish of the cup bodies with Art Deco-style grilles, made of aluminum alloy. The headband is made of genuine leather and carbon fiber, and the headphones are still supplied in a stylish metal case.

The set includes two pairs of large ear pads, one of which is covered entirely with Alcantara, while the second is covered with this material combined with genuine leather. The acoustic part has an open design and was developed jointly with the company Rinaro . It is built on an isodynamic emitter with a membrane with an area of ​​4650 square meters. mm and weighing 0.16 g.
