Moondrop has released new full-size planar headphones PARA , built on isodynamic drivers of its own design. They feature 100mm thin diaphragms with a silver voice coil, driven by an N52 neodymium magnetic system whose magnet placement is optimized by finite element analysis.
The headphones have a high sensitivity of 101 dB and a low impedance of 8 Ohms , which will have a positive effect on their compatibility with various amplifiers.
The headphone chassis was borrowed from the flagship model Venus , which made them not only comfortable, but also lightweight. When setting up the sound signature, the developers focused on the proprietary VSDF curve , which allows for natural sound with a high degree of detail and comfort. The delivery set includes a universal detachable cable equipped with 3.5 mm mini-jacks on both sides.
The Moondrop PARA Planar Headphones are available online starting at $299.
