Palm Buds Pro: Fully Wireless Budget-Class Headphones

Former designers Beats by Dre and Samsung have teamed up at Palm to create the Palm Buds Pro TWS headphones. The buds are equipped with an active 6-microphone noise cancellation (promised -30 dB), and in Ambient Mode you can hear both music and sounds of the surrounding world. A 10 mm speaker with a sensitivity of 102 dB is responsible for reproduction. Three play modes are available.

The new product supports HFP, HSP, A2DP, AVRCP profiles and AAC and SBC codecs. Siri and Google Assistant voice assistants are available. Quick pairing and synchronization with devices is provided by the Hall switch, which is triggered when you open the charging case.

The buds are protected from sweat and water according to the IPX4 standard. The set includes three sets of nozzles. Palm Buds Pro will work on its own for 4.5 hours (without ANC – an hour longer), and in talk mode it will last for three hours.

The 400mAh battery in the charging case will add a total of about another day of playback. In standby mode, the headphones will remain for about four days, while the charging time is less than 2 hours. The earbuds can be purchased with a silicone case in the colors Shadow Black, Rose Pink and Navy Blue. Palm Buds Pro will be available from November 9th.

In the US, Palm Buds Pro are already available for pre-order for $ 100 – with a $ 30 discount. A silicone case costs $ 15 during the same period – a discount of $ 10.
