British headphone maker RockJaw Audio has released a “truly wireless” pair of the Avant Air. The headphones comes in light weight – only 6.5 g per earpiece – and with specifications corresponding to the “heavier” weight categories. True, without active noise cancellation.

First of all, these are custom speakers, in the membranes of which, judging by the hints of RockJaw, a layer of beryllium and liquid silicone is used. For Avant Air, the declared frequency range of 15 Hz – 40 kHz, inherent rather in full-size high-end models.

Signal processing – match: Bluetooth 5.2 using Qualcomm’s aptX or Apple’s AAC Avant Air. Touch controls provide volume control, play / pause switching, track skip and voice assistant activation without having to touch your smartphone.

At the same time, the novelty was awarded an IPX5 waterproof rating and is ready to work 12 hours on its own, plus another 39 hours using the charging case. Half an hour of charging (wireless or USB-C) will provide 10 hours of music.
