Sennheiser has released a top-end model of wired-channel dynamic headphones Sennheiser IE 900 , which absorbed all the best branded solutions.
The acoustic part is built on the new X3R dynamic radiator , which is a significantly modified 7-mm XWB (Extra Wide Band) driver . The driver is loaded onto a new generation triple acoustic chamber (T3CA) , which eliminates the effect of masking high frequencies with low frequencies while simultaneously reproducing them with a wideband emitter.
The new diaphragm used in the driver has better internal damping, which guarantees a reduction in resonances and harmonic distortion. THD is only 0.05% at 94 dB at 1 kHz, while the declared frequency range extends from 5 to 48,000 Hz .
The headphones are equipped with a Fidelity Plus MMCX connector and come with two detachable cables – balanced with 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm plugs and unbalanced with 3.5 mm minijack. Also included are ear cushions in three sizes, made from different materials – silicone and memory foam.
The retail price of the Sennheiser IE 900 in -ear headphones is 1299 euros .
