SteelSeries Arctis 9 for both PC and PlayStation 5

SteelSeries Arctis 9 is a premium wireless headset for gaming, and works with both PC and PlayStation. When the PS5 hits the market, it will also be compatible with the new console.

Wireless connection takes place over 2.4 GHz, with ultra-low latency. So that what happens in the picture comes at the same time as what you get in your ear. Important for the gaming experience!

Also works with Bluetooth

Like the Arctis Pro Wireless and Arctis 9X, the Arctis 9 also has Bluetooth connectivity to mobile phones and tablets, and you can then also use it for calls and music, as well as chatting via video conferencing, for example. You can do this while listening to the sound of the game in full lossless resolution.

Arctis 9 has a lavish microphone

Arctis 9 has a Discord-certified microphone, which means that the gaming chat service Discord has approved that it is of good enough quality. The microphone, which SteelSeries calls ClearCast, is bipolar (8-digit characteristic), and provides both active noise reduction and “naturally clear sound”. We are also promised a sound image that in addition to tough action sound will also emphasize the subtle details. You will hear it when the enemy lurks in the grass!

Battery life and comfort

The battery provides over 20 hours of use on a single charge. The headband is of the same type as on alpine goggles, for the best possible comfort over a long period of time. The ear pads are upholstered in fabric from Airweave, a Japanese manufacturer of ergonomic mattresses. The headband is reinforced with stainless steel, for better durability and a sense of quality.

Sound mix between game and chat sound (ChatMix) can be adjusted directly on the earpiece, and surround sound is simulated with DTS Headphone: X v2.0.
