Technics EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40: TWS headphones with JustMyVoice technology and IPX4 protection

Technics EAH AZ60 and EAH AZ40

Technics presented two models of completely wireless headphones at once – EAH-AZ60 and EAH-AZ40 . Both feature proprietary JustMyVoice phone enhancement technology. It uses microphones (for example, the older model has eight) and digital signal processing, reducing background noise and increasing speech intelligibility.

Headphones EAH-AZ60 received 8 mm, and EAH-AZ40 – 6 mm speakers, complemented by an acoustic chamber. Wireless communication option – Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC codec (AZ60 also support high definition LDAC codec).

Among the advantages of the older model is active noise cancellation, using both forward and feedback with “best-in-class” characteristics, according to Technics. The owner of the EAH-AZ60 will be able to keep abreast of the surrounding events in the Natural transparency mode. Added to it are the Attention Mode, which emphasizes the frequencies of the human voice, and technologies that reduce wind noise.

The AZ40 will work 7.5 hours on its own and 25 with the charging case. The AZ60 has lower figures – 4.5 and 16 hours, respectively – but with LDAC enabled. With the AAC codec and ANC enabled, battery life is increased to 7 and 24 hours. Another 1.5 hours of work for both earbuds will add 15 minutes of fast charging. Both models are IPX4 splash resistant.
