TRN has begun sales of its flagship BAX Pro in-ear headphone modules , which use three different types of emitters.
Each headphone has one dynamic , two reinforcement and two low-current electrostatic emitters. The dynamic driver has a 10 mm beryllium diaphragm , a dual magnetic system and is responsible for the low-frequency range. Mid frequencies are reproduced by armature drivers, and the high frequency range is assigned to electrostatic drivers.
The joint operation of all emitters is ensured by a crossover filter equipped with three two-position switches that allow you to customize the sound of the headphones to your preferences. The headphone housings are made of magnesium-aluminum alloy, which significantly reduces their weight. The complete cable has conductors made of monocrystalline copper and is equipped with a modular connector on which three mini-jacks are installed – 2.5 mm, 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm. The sensitivity of the model is 114 dB , the nominal resistance is 32 Ohms .
The TRN BAX Pro in-ear hybrid headphones sell online starting at $410
