Argon Audio has introduced a new low-cost turntable TT-4 , equipped with a built-in switchable phono stage.
Also included is a factory- installed Ortofon 2M Red MM cartridge and a set of connecting cables, so the turntable is ready to plug into any amplifier’s line-in input.
The turntable is equipped with an 8.8 -inch tonearm with a carbon fiber tube, which uses an original technical solution. At the bottom of the tube, a precise, calculated cut is made to eliminate bends and reduce internal vibrations that propagate through the tonearm during playback. This solution is called Anisotropic Torsion Stabilizer .
The body of the player is made of medium-density fiberboard, the disc weighing 1.4 kilograms is made of aluminum. The belt drive provides two speeds of rotation – 33.43 and 45 rpm, the total weight of the turntable is 7.2 kg .
The Argon Audio TT-4 turntable is sold on the European market for 650 euros .
