The new desktop device AUDALYTIC AH90 combines everything necessary for a discerning audiophile – a DAC unit on the AK4191+AK4499EX chipset , a headphone amplifier and even a network player.
The network player supports Roon Bridge, AirPlay, UPnP and others platforms; support for other protocols is also announced after a software update. The headphone amplifier serves two outputs – unbalanced 6.35 mm and balanced 4.4 mm, the maximum power in the first case is 500 mW , in the second – 1000 mW at 32 Ohms.
The digital-to-analog converter is based on the top solution from Asahi Kasei – the AK4191 decoder and the AK4499EX converter itself ; the user can adjust the sound to his taste using switchable digital filters. For analog output there is one pair of RCA and one pair of XLR, for digital signal sources on the rear panel there are two coaxial inputs, one optical input, a USB-C port and a LAN port.
Device dimensions – 220 x 170 x 50 mm , packaged weight – 2 kg . A fully functional remote control is included.
