Aune has launched a new Flamingo BT Edition digital-to – analog converter and headphone amplifier that works in both tube and transistor modes.
To do this, the device has two separate amplifying paths – on a finger lamp and on operational amplifiers. In combination with seven digital filters, the user can get exactly the sound that best suits his favorite genres.
High-quality components are used in the audio circuits, a coaxial input and a USB-B port are provided for the digital signal. The model is now produced in two versions, the second of which is equipped with a Bluetooth adapter that supports LDAC and aptX HD codecs . The DAC section can handle 32bit/768kHz PCM signals and native DSD512 streaming , with a separate clock generator responsible for timing accuracy.
On the front of the device is a monochrome OLED display and a 6.35 mm headphone output . There is an adjustable RCA analog output on the rear panel.
The standard Aune Flamingo is sold online for $219 , the Aune Flamingo BT Edition is $289 .
