Aune S17 Pro: Class A Headphone Amplifier unveiled
Aune S17 Pro
Aune Audio has released a new stationary headphone amplifier S17 Pro , which has a fully symmetrical circuit.
Dual JFET transistors are installed in the input stage, two transistors per channel also work at the output. The maximum output power with a balanced connection reaches 7507 mW , with an unbalanced connection – 2020 mW with a resistance load of 32 Ohm , switching between two two levels of the quiescent current of the output stages is available.
The amplifier has 6.35 mm and 3.5 mm jacks for connecting headphones , as well as a four-pin XLR . Analog inputs and outputs on the rear panel are organized on RCA and XLR connectors, the device can also work as a pre-amplifier. The volume control in the model is made on a resistive matrix (R-2R). The liquid crystal display on the front panel shows, in addition to the volume level, the temperature of the output transistors and the selected quiescent current.
The Aune S17 Pro headphone amplifier comes in black and white and is sold online for $699 .
