The French company Cabasse has announced the release of a new integrated amplifier with a built-in Abyss streamer.

The novelty is enclosed in a small black aluminum case measuring 245 x 97 x 220 mm , resting on steel supports. The weight of the component is 3.5 kg . In the center of the front panel flaunts a round touch screen, combined with a volume knob.

To integrate into the network and connect signal sources, the device has a full set of digital and analog inputs, as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless modules. There are 3.5 mm headphone outputs, a subwoofer output and an external power amplifier. The class D amplifier built into the Cabasse Abyss delivers 215 watts into 4 ohms and 120 watts into 8 ohms. Management is carried out through a proprietary application StreamCONTROL .

The amplifier also uses DEAP (Digital Enhancement of Acoustical Performances) technology, which is a Cabasse speaker profiles sewn into memory and optimizes the performance of the amplifier. The DFE (Dynamic Fidelity Enhancer) function seems to be a new version of loudness, and the CRCS algorithm allows you to calibrate the sound to the acoustic characteristics of the room.

The Cabasse Abyss integrated amplifier will hit the market in December 2022 at a price of 1,700 euros.
