EarMen’s Tradutto DAC is a compact ES9038Q2M-based device with a serious set of features.
According to EarMen, the ES9038Q2M chipset delivers outstanding sound quality. The novelty processes digital audio files up to 32 bit / 768 kHz or DSD512. The entire circuit is said to be optimized to consume less by improving power filtering. Gold-plated PCB – Provides more than just good, clean, low-resistance contact. The result is reduced interference from Wi-Fi, cellular, and Bluetooth.
Integrated HD Bluetooth 5.1 (supporting AAC/SBC/aptX/aptx LL/aptx HD/LDAC) is based on Qualcomm QCC5124 chipset. The novelty supports MQA, on board – digital optical, digital coaxial and USB inputs. MQA hardware decoding is provided by a 16-core XMOS chip (XU216). It also provides twice the clock speed (2000MIPS), as well as support for the SuperSpeed USB standard) and has four times the memory (512 KB). At the same time, the Tradutto scheme is completely balanced.
Tradutto is assembled in a one-piece aluminum chassis, in which the printed circuit board is integrated – this provides greater protection for the board inside the case and additional insulation from external influences. The digital and analog parts of the circuit are carefully separated at the power supply level. The analog part used WIMA capacitors and audiophile electrolytes, combined with MELF low noise resistors and SoundPlus OPA1642 op amps.
