It turns out a firmware update for the phono stages Gold Note PH-1000 has been released. According to the manufacturer, these are revolutionary devices that, in addition to high sound quality, have received the widest settings.

In particular, they allow you to select more than one or two correction curves – the list is much wider: RIAA, Capitol, Columbia / CBS, Deutsche Grammophon, Decca London USA, Decca London UK and Decca Mono 78rpm, Epic, HMW, Mercury, RCA Victor, Philips , Elektra, L’Oliseau-Lyre, Parlophone – and that’s not all. If desired, you can create your own EQ curve and save it in the device’s memory as a preset. The waveform is shown on the front display.

At the same time, up to three cartridges are connected to the phono stage simultaneously, and about 40 equalization curves can be selected separately for each of the inputs. The electrical matching parameters can be adjusted just as accurately and smoothly.

According to the company, the firmware v.135 for the Gold Note PH-1000 and PH-1000 LINE will optimize system management and, importantly, will bring improvements in the graphics design of the front display. In addition, menu navigation has been improved. Naturally, all noticed errors were fixed – in particular, possible problems when working with the remote control.

The v.135 update is already available on the Gold Note website. You can also watch a video instruction on its installation there.
