Gold Note launches PSU-5 external power supply for the PH-5 phono stage

In April, the Italian company Gold Note announced the availability of an optional external power supply PSU-5 , specially designed to improve the sound quality of the Gold Note PH-5 phono stage . It took three more months for the company’s engineers to establish the production process. Since the beginning of July, mass production of new items has started.

The PSU-5 external power supply is the perfect upgrade to elevate your Gold Note analog system and deliver quality vinyl playback. The circuit design of this unit is inspired by the same philosophy that underpins the company’s series of external power supplies, such as the PSU-10 and PSU-1000. The design uses a linear power supply with special transformers made to order in Italy according to Gold Note specifications. In addition, it has an inductive filter to compensate for noise and interference coming from the AC mains.
