The Swiss company Goldmund has introduced a new model of the Goldmund Eidos SACD optical disc player , equipped with a USB-B digital input and supporting decoding of PCM digital streams with resolutions up to 32 bit / 384 kHz and DSD up to DSD512.

In addition, the Goldmund Eidos SACD switching arsenal includes coaxial and optical digital outputs and a balanced AES / EBU digital output, as well as analog outputs – both balanced on XLR connectors and unbalanced on RCA.

The Goldmund Eidos SACD player is based on the D&M SACD optical disc transport, which is mounted on a proprietary chassis to eliminate vibration, resulting in the highest accuracy of reading information from the disc.
