At the Axpona 2024 exhibition , held this weekend in the States, the legendary Danish company Gryphon Audio Designs ApS , a designer and manufacturer of luxury audio systems, introduced the third generation of network air conditioner Gryphon PowerZone , which received the suffix 3 in the name.

Gryphon PowerZone features innovative power transmission technology. In a typical circuit, transmitting an alternating voltage through a conductor creates an uncontrolled resonance, analogous to aerodynamic turbulence, caused by the random crystal structure of the conductor through which the signal passes. By transferring energy through ordered crystalline conductor structures, PowerZone optimizes electron movement and minimizes parasitic resonances and the distortion they create. This is achieved through the use of Hafner Tech’s patented conductors with tailored crystal structures.

Designed by Paul Hafner, founder of Quantum Acoustics SRL, Gryphon PowerZone components utilize a series of Hafner Tech™ conductive modules designed to provide optimal audio signal transmission without any current limiting, filtering or active signal processing. Hafner Tech™ modules are resin-embedded to reduce vibration and ensure the highest build quality expected from all Gryphon components. The body of the Gryphon PowerZone 3 air conditioner is made of two-layer panels, the core of which is steel, and the outer covering is made of aluminum.

Gryphon PowerZone 3 air conditioners are offered in two variants: the PowerZone 3.10 ($14,000 ) offers eight Furutech power outlets and 20 amps for connecting audio components, while the PowerZone 3.20 ($17,500 ) provides two independent banks with four sockets each with a total current of 40 amperes. Gryphon PowerZone 3 power conditioners will be available in summer 2024.
