This summer, the Korean company Hifi Rose introduced the RS130 network transport – an audiophile streamer with only digital outputs and rich functionality. Now the company has announced an interesting addition for the RS130 transport and, of course, for any other streamers that can play music received via the USB interface and are equipped with an SFP optical port. Hifi Rose RSA720 is a fiber optic USB hub that provides galvanic isolation between the streamer and the USB drive.
According to Hifi Rose, the use of RSA720 will minimize interference and noise, which will lead to increased reliability of data transmission. In addition, the device will allow, if necessary, to organize connections over very impressive distances.
In addition, the RSA720, along with the SFP optical interface, can also use regular USB-B 3.0, which may be required if your streamer or external DAC is not equipped with an SFP port.
The Hifi Rose RSA720 optical USB hub is supplied with an external power supply, two SFP modules and cables – fiber optic SFP and USB-A – USB-B. The new product is already on sale at a recommended retail price of 429 euros .
