Lenco showcased three budget-friendly vinyl record players at the IFA 2024 exhibition in Berlin last week. The mid-range option is the Lenco LBT-215BK, priced at 329 euros. In contrast to the entry-level Lenco LBTA-165, this model includes an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a USB port, allowing users to connect to a computer for digitizing their vinyl collections. This feature enables music enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite tracks on the go by transferring the digitized files to mobile devices. Similar to its smaller counterpart, the Lenco LBT-215BK supports Bluetooth streaming and is equipped with a phono preamp.
However, it does not include the automatic functions found in the LBTA-165. On the upside, it features a superior moving magnet (MM) cartridge, the Audio-Technica AT-VM95E, which provides a richer and more detailed audio experience. Additionally, the turntable’s tonearm is designed with a counterweight, allowing for greater customization for users who prioritize sound quality.
The Lenco LBT-215BK turntable features a sleek glossy black design, enhancing its sophisticated appearance, and includes a detachable dust cover. This model represents an ideal balance of price and quality for vinyl enthusiasts seeking a budget-friendly turntable with enhanced features. The new product is set to be available for purchase in October.
