Moondrop has released an updated version of the MOONRIVER 2 Ti portable digital-to – analog converter and headphone amplifier .
The DAC differs not only in the case machined from a solid titanium billet, but also in an updated and optimized circuit. The DAC block is based on a dual chip CS43198 from Cirrus Logic , the amplifier section includes four separate modules, and the power supply uses five independent chips. This solution helped to achieve a signal-to-noise ratio of 131 dB .
On the side of the case there are physical volume keys, and on the back there is a transparent window through which you can see the internal structure of the model. The maximum output power of the amplifier is 250 mW , there are two jacks for connecting headphones – 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm.
The Moondrop MOONRIVER 2 Ti portable DAC and headphone amplifier is on sale online for $190 .
