Onkyo has unveiled the flagship Onkyo TX-RZ70 11.2-channel cinema receiver with 140 watts per channel when driven into 8 ohm speakers.
The receiver is equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports with a bandwidth of 40 Gb / s, which allows you to broadcast video with parameters 8K / 60 Hz and 4K / 120 Hz with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 +. Thus, Onkyo TX-RZ70 will become an organic partner for the latest generation of game consoles PlayStation 5 and xBox Series X.
The Onkyo TX-RZ70 receiver is based on the latest generation of 32-bit ESS Saber DAC chips and is equipped with Dirac Live Room Correction Full Bandwidth automatic sound calibration system that uses artificial intelligence technology to optimize the sound. As an option, the manufacturer offers to increase the system’s capabilities by adding Dirac Live Bass Control to optimize the performance of one or more subwoofers.
The model is THX Select certified and supports IMAX Enhanced . In addition, the Onkyo TX-RZ70 receiver has a special Klipsch Optimized Mode that allows you to optimally work with acoustics of the Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere series . The output stages of the receiver are made on discrete elements and operate in class AB.
The Onkyo TX-RZ70 receiver has advanced networking capabilities for music streaming and supports AirPlay 2, DTS Play-Fi, Chromecast, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music and Pandora. For integration into a computer network, you can use the built-in wireless Wi-Fi adapter, or a wired Ethernet version. Roon Ready certification gives users access to high-resolution music libraries (available with a firmware update in September 2023).
For live music streaming from mobile gadgets, there is a Bluetooth adapter with support for the aptX HD codec. The Onkyo TX-RZ70 receiver is also compatible with the Sonos wireless ecosystem. To control the receiver, in addition to the complete remote control, you can use voice assistants Alexa, Hey Google and Siri .
The Onkyo TX-RZ70 flagship cinema receiver will be available in Spring 2023. The recommended retail price of new items in Europe will be 3,299 euros.
