Opera Only: 120-kilowatt amplifier from Italian technology designer Andrea Pivetta

The famous Italian “technology designer” Andrea Pivetta ( by Andrea Pivetta ) has completed work on his next tehnotvoreniem – amplifier Opera Only .

The amplifier is a black 12-sided cylinder made up of several modules. Pivetta said that the device he created should be treated not only as another audio novelty, but also as a work of art.

Aviation aluminum is used in the production. The structure weighs 1,800 kg. There are two options available to users: 6 x 20,000 W and 12 x 10,000 W.

The Opera Only system is serviced by six 30 kW toroidal transformers each, rated for 1,600 V and up to 400 A.

In the basic configuration, 12 analog RCA inputs are installed in the housing . On request, the manufacturer can add digital ones. Twelve output channels have 192 SpeakON connectors . In its maximum configuration, the amplifier is capable of delivering 120 kW.

Its cost is based on configuration and is available on request only.
