The Pro-Ject CD Box E’s optical drive is optimized for playback of CD-Auido discs (CD-DA Red Book standard). Errors in reading information are minimized, and the sound is accurate and natural. Slot disk loading works quickly and almost silently. The transport on the chassis is mounted on a damping base to eliminate vibrations. The model is equipped with an MS8413 DAC chip, capable of decoding musical material with parameters up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. Data processing is carried out with high precision, eliminating sound distortion.

The Pro-Ject CD Box E CD player’s switching arsenal includes a linear analog output on RCA connectors. There is also a coaxial digital S/PDIF output for using the player as a transport with an external DAC. The Pro-Ject CD Box E is available in two finishes: black or silver. The laconic European design and small size of the player will allow it to look organically as part of any Hi-Fi set.
