Shanling EA5 Plus

Shanling launched the EA5 Plus combo device , which combines an integrated amplifier, DAC, network streamer and headphone amplifier in one .

The power amplifier is built on 100AS2 modules from ICEpower , the output power in stereo mode is 55 watts into 8 ohms and 100 watts into 4 ohms, two pairs of full-size screw terminals are provided for connecting speakers on the rear panel.

The D/A converter is based on Asahi Kasei ‘s AK4493EQ chip and features several switchable digital filters, PCM signals up to 32bit/768kHz and DSD512 native stream , as well as MQA files are supported.  The headphone amplifier has an output power of 570 mW at 32 ohms, there is a 6.35 mm jack for connection on the front panel . On the top panel of the device is a 4.7-inch touch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, through which you can control the built-in player and other functions.

Wireless capabilities include a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi adapter, as well as a Bluetooth module with support for LDAC, LHDC, aptX HD codecs . To connect the streamer to a wired network, there is an Ethernet port. The dimensions of the device are 188 x 55 x 238 mm .
