The Austrian brand Pro-Ject has expanded its accessories catalog with the necessary tool for setting up a vinyl record player – the Align It S template . The new product is designed to adjust the position of the pickup head on the tonearm. The template makes it possible to perform adjustments using the methods (protractors) of Stevenson, Lefgren or Bayerwald. Pro-Ject Align It S fits tonearms ranging from 8″ to 12″ in length and is simple and easy to use, even for beginners.
Place the Align It S on the turntable platter so that the spindle fits into the hole in the template. Then place the pickup stylus at the desired point on the protractor and make adjustments if necessary.
The Pro-Ject Align It S installation template is made from clear acrylic and features easy-to-read markings. It is applied in such a way as to ensure the durability of the template. Correct setting increases the service life of the cartridge stylus, reduces record wear and improves sound quality.
