Topping has released a new version of its D70 Pro digital – to-analogue converter with the OCTO suffix .

It means the use of eight CS43198 chips from Cirrus Logic in the DAC unit at once , this solution made it possible to achieve an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, reaching -134 dB . The device has a wide range of digital inputs, including optical, coaxial, USB-B, AES/EBU. For analog signal output, a pair of RCA (2.1V) and a pair of XLR (4.2V) are provided, both of which can operate in both fixed mode and preamplifier mode.

The front panel display has several display styles, including signal level meters. The model has a Bluetooth adapter with support for LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and AAC codecs . The package includes a small remote control.
