The American company Zesto Audio introduced Eros 500 Select tube monoblocks , operating in pure class A. At the same time, the amplifier is capable of developing up to 250 watts! The novelty comes with KT150 lamps , but can be used with KT88, KT120 and KT170. The output stage is implemented on six lamps operating in parallel.
To adapt to other models of output tubes, the amplifier is equipped with a three-position switch for the Auto Bias Select system .
For connection to a preamp, the Zesto Audio Eros 500 Select monoblock is equipped with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs. There are separate outputs for acoustics with a nominal impedance of 4 and 8 ohms. In addition, there is a SpeakOn connector on the back of the amplifier housing for connecting an active subwoofer.
Zesto Audio Eros 500 Select tube monoblocks are already on sale for a suggested price of $35,000 per pair with KT150 tubes.
