Dell-owned gaming brand Alienware has unveiled a new laptop powered by AMD processors – the Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition R5. It is noteworthy that the last time a laptop with an alien on the lid and an AMD chip inside appeared 14 years ago, in the already so distant 2007.
The laptop comes with three versions of the 15.6-inch screen at once: Full HD resolution with a refresh rate of 165 or 360 Hz and a brightness of 300 cd / m 2 or a resolution of 1440p with a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a brightness of 400 cd / m 2 . There are two eight-core processors to choose from: Ryzen 7 5800H and Ryzen 9 5900HX. The first produces a maximum clock speed of 4.4 GHz, the second – 4.6 GHz.
There are also two video cards to choose from – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or GeForce RTX 3070. There are up to 32 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and up to two NVMe solid-state drives with a total volume of up to 4 TB. The Alienware m15 R5 Ryzen Edition will go on sale April 20 in China and May 4 in the rest of the world. Price – from $ 1,795.
