Craob X: A laptop with no connectors and only 7 mm thick

Craob X

Craob X is a very unusual laptop. Yes, the case here is allegedly only 7 mm thick, the weight is only 861 g (this is cool, but not so impressive), and there are no connectors at all. Let’s start with the last one.

How to charge the laptop? Well, look at the photos. Yes, that thing attached to the lid is wireless charging. And at the same time, a docking station with many ports. The solution, to put it mildly, is not the most aesthetic and convenient. This is in the photo this thing without flash drives connected to it and other things. In addition, the laptop is very light, and no matter how this thing simply outweighs it, this is a very open question.

But when charging is nearby, everything looks, of course, cool. Ports are placed on this docking station, which made it possible to make the laptop ultra-thin. True, 7 mm is still very thin for a laptop. What kind of battery is there, how well the processor is cooled, and how everything fit into the lower part, which is about 4-5 mm thick, I’ll never know. By the way, the processor here is quite itself. In the top is the Core i7-1280P, that is, not just fresh, but also 28-watt. We could take the U-model, obviously it would be easier to cool. But the power limit can simply be severely slaughtered. In any case, the cooling there should be passive, since no cracks are visible.

The manufacturer also talks about 32 GB of RAM, 2 TB SSD and Wi-Fi 6E. And the screen here is 13.3 inches with 4K UHD.

I would really like to see such a laptop actually come out. Of course, such a no-name will rattle in the news, and everyone will forget about it, but at least we will be able to understand that it is possible to implement it technically, and at the same time understand how to implement it.

But so far there is no information either on prices or on the release date.
